Editorial Review
Six chutes, plus six curves, plus nine tubes, plus three bases, plus six marbles equals a plethora of architectural possibilities. Galt's Marble Run is a sturdy, simply-put-together set in primary colors that's perfect for the beginning builder. Kids love to watch the marbles roll down the chutes, disappear into the tubes, and reappear on the curves a few inches lower. Since it can be configured any number of ways, it's a great discovery and exploration tool, providing instant feedback in the cause-and-effect department. And it's easy to take it apart and start over, too! --Julie Ubben
24 brightly coloured pieces in 4 different shapes to slot together into a marble run. Children will enjoy devising a variety of routes for the marbles to roll along as they descend to home base. Includes 6 marbles 4 to 8 Years

This would be fun and educational but Galt messed up June 6, 2004
By kigp
Durability: Educational: Fun:
My children used an older version of this type of marble game and went bonkers over it. The toy we used was a friends. My wife bought Galt's version and I am ready to toss it into the garbage can. I just hope the retailer will accept a return. The problem is that Galt's materials engineers cut back on the connector strength and the pieces do not stick together well. All it takes to knock this toy down is a minor bump. My kids were totally frustrated and so was I. This was not an issue with the toy my friend had.
Galt, you saved a few pennies on plastic on each set you built but you created a useless toy. Two thumbs down

Didn't think the kids would like it, but EVERY kid loves it! November 8, 2003
By H. David Peirce
Durability: Educational: Fun:
This was a gift from somebody to our (then) 2-year old son. I didn't think he would like it. I thought it would be just another toy that was taking up space. But he immediately loved it. He still plays with it two years later, and now his two-year old sister plays with it, too. And every child who visits our house gravitates to this toy. There is just something fascinating for kids about configuring the chutes and watching marbles roll down. Highly recommended.

Pinching Pennies Cost Customer July 26, 2005
By Eric S
This toy thoroughly dissapointed me from the moment I handed it to my child. I remember playing with it's quality predecessor as a child. These memories were dashed by the shoddy workmanship evident by the makers of this "product". The connectors were too short and were seperated by the slightest bump. There were not enough tube connectors to build a tower of any great height. Even the marbles were of different sizes and shapes which prevented a proper roll even if the tower managed to hold together. This toy is a total waste of money and I will be returning it shortly. The company should spend a few more cents and make a quality product.

good basic marble run
This marble run is very sturdy quality plastic. We had one in the past that was very flimsy. The Galt marble run pieces are heavier plastic and fit together well. Read more

Lots of fun, keeps Dad occupied too!
This is a lot of fun, I like the way the marbles sound when they're running through it. It's very colorful and the ways to construct the towers are virtually endless. Read more

Not very entertaining
This item was not very large and kept falling apart--I wouldn't recommend it.

At least it is slightly educational.
But will you kids love it? That is the question. It may teach your kids about gravitational forces, or actiona and reaction, all you like but will your kids like it? Yes. Read more
