We have several of the Haba Marble Run accessories and this has been very entertaining for our youngest, 3 year old to set up and be able watch the marble zig zag down the track. Little cousin who is 18 months can do this too, with our watching the marbles so they don't go in his mouth, but he giggles and laughs to see the marble move, and feels very proud of himself as the older kids are making more complex tracks. A great toy for the whole family really.

Not sure if a marble run is worth the investment? Start with this winding track. It will be clear how many years of play and possibilities a marble run provides. The Haba marble run components are great, expensive, but extremely thoughtful. I found other runs to be cheaply made or designed in a way that would limit possibilities (many really look much more fun than they are, especially the ones that interlock into position). You really don't want to limit possibilities with this toy because a child can really take off inventively. Our family has developed an eye for found objects that might be good additions to our marble run.
